I work at a beautiful sewing and yarn shop in Columbus, Ohio called Sew To Speak, both on the floor and teaching crochet classes. When we received our first order of Bobbiny Junior and Jumbo cord I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.

I quickly designed this Bobbiny Basket, a simple crochet rope basket using Junior as the main color cord, crocheted around Jumbo. This is a great easy level project, for those new to crochet and eager to increase their skills. But also a satisfying and useful quick project for advanced crocheters.

I’ve taught this crochet basket pattern several times, and it’s been so fun to watch students choose thier colors and see how they play as the basket comes to life.
